Downtown Sacramento 12th Street May Become More Bicycle Friendly

The Sacramento Bee recently posted a story related to making Downtown Sacramento more bicycle friendly.

The City of Sacramento is asking for public input regarding a proposal to reduce the 12th Street entry into downtown one lane less for cars – while converting the remaining far west lane into a bicycle lane.

The two way bicycle lane would be protected by bollards (designed to add more protection for bicyclists from motor vehicles entering and leaving downtown Sacramento via 12th Street).

If this is a topic of interest, please access the Sacramento Bee Story for further detail.
